The Shroud of Leonardo

It is in the Italian city of Turin lies the piece of cloth the world's most famous: the Shroud. This piece of long and 4 m wide linen about 1 m would, in millions of Christians used to bury Christ after his death.
To the naked eye, the fabric, it can indeed be distinguished, although with difficulty, a double body imprint of a man from the front and back. On the negative photographic film, contrasts become clearer and contours sharper.
The position of the footprints suggests that a body was wrapped in the shroud.
A cursory visual analysis printed on the napkin body reveals a man measuring about 1.80 m and with a beard and long hair.
Traces of a foot injury, arms and ribs reminiscent alleged injuries sustained a crucified person. In addition, the head seems highly bruised, as if a sharp object had notched. Many see the traces of the famous crown of thorns. These correlations between the supposed appearance of Jesus to his death and the appearance of the man of the shroud allowed to think that the image of the Shroud was that of Jesus.
But is this really the case, and since when do you suppose?
In fact, the first mention of the famous shroud back to the year 1356, where it was exhibited for the first time to the general public. Number of faithful immediately thought the imprint left on the shroud would have represented the aura emitted Jesus in his resurrection.
Since then, many questions have been raised about the authenticity of the relic, and the idea that the Shroud is a fake not new: there 400 years ago, Pope Clement VII did not consider the shroud as an authentic piece. It was indeed the image is the product of a forger, because it seemed strange that a relic of this importance and supposedly dating from the time of Christ has not manifested before the fourteenth century.
The answer to the mystery of the shroud eventually came to the end of the twentieth century. With modern techniques, it has been established that the shroud dates from a much later period, ending the many beliefs about its origin.
To explain how this could be achieved fake, two theories prevail. According to one, the impression would be simply a painting dating from the fourteenth century. The other suggests rather than stone statue of Jesus was strongly heated and then placed inside the shroud, then leaving marks on the fabric.
It is through the technique of carbon-14 dating that has recently been established that the shroud is from the Middle Ages and not from the time of Jesus, there are 2000 years. Yet the mystery remains because all this is that computation and some even say that carbon-14 is not as reliable as that!
There are some years ARTE proposed a thema on Leonardo da Vinci. The documentary focused on the theory of German researchers and historians, who were convinced that the Shroud of Turin was the work of Leonardo da Vinci: it is, in fact the first picture of history, revealed through flashes of twentieth !!
The argument born of suspicion and historical véracités: it would have been an order made by the Duke of Savoy, who wanted a relic in order to establish the power of their church. Vinci invented the "Camerata negra" (black room) and we know that the Arabs knew the photocells from the early Middle Ages. The person in the shroud would be the body of an Adonis (companion Vinci) and face one of Leonardo da Vinci himself !!
